Installpac started out purely in application packaging. However as Windows Installer became more widespread we noticed a requirement for the deployment technicians to have a solid understanding of Windows Installer to successfully deploy applications. Due to the complexity of the installation system deployment failure are often misinterpreted as poorly packaged applications. Often the deployment tool can cause a package to fail deployment but this is rarely related to the application itself.

From the knowledge gained in application packaging we realized the need for skilled deployment technicians as well. As such application deployment became a natural progression for Installpac.
